There are few global issues more pressing than Climate Change and Social Instability. The impact of these attributes have no borders or political alignment. Actions, impacts and innovations which are made by few will have impact on everyone. This will occur both positively and negatively. 

This is concerning to everyone on the planet, however the next generations of families will be increasingly impacted more by the decisions which are made today. Patriarchs and matriarchs will see this as important but the children and grandchildren will see it as critical. 

Wealth has been accumulated in many ways - in some aspect the debt for our current lifestyle will be compounded in the future. Fossil fuels, water pollution, proliferation of hydro-carbon derived plastics, over fishing/agriculture over-usage and inequality to name a few, are all contributors to the economic evolution and growth but have used the scarce resources that the world thought were perpetually plentiful.
